คือ โปรแกรมที่ใช้ในการแบ่ง Partition และ Format Harddisk ที่รวดเร็วกว่าวิธีอื่น
ๆ สามารถทำให้ Mainboard ที่มีข้อจำกัดในเรื่องของ BIOS สามารถใช้งาน Harddisk
ได้อย่างเต็มความจุ
1.1 ขั้นตอนการ Down Load

Down Load โปรแกรม Disk Manager โดยคลิกขวาเลือก Save Target AS
1.2 ขั้นตอนการติดตั้งโปรแกรม

หลังจาก
Down Load โปรแกรมแล้วเริ่มทำการติดตั้งโปรแกรมดังนี้

ดับเบิ้ลคลิกที่ ไฟล์ dmgr956a.exe จะปรากฏหน้าจอ Disk Manager ใส่แผ่น Floppy
Disk ที่ Drive: A คลิก OK ก็จะได้แผ่น Disk manager

Boot เครื่องเข้าสู่ Bios ตรวจสอบว่า Harddisk ได้ Set เป็น Auto ใน LBA Modes
ให้ Enabled ถ้า Bios ของคุณไม่รองรับ Harddisk ขนาดใหญ่ หรือ LBA Modes ให้
Set Harddisk เป็น Primary หรือกำหนดรายละเอียดของ Harddisk เป็น 1024 Cylinders
- 16 Heads - 63 Sector /Track

Save Bios และ Boot เครื่องด้วย Disk Manager จาก Floppy Diskette

กด Enter เมื่อเข้าสู่หน้าจอ Disk Manager

ที่ Option Menu เลือก Easy Disk Installation
+
เลือกระบบปฏิบัติที่จะติดตั้งให้ Support กับ ระบบ FAT16 หรือ FAT 32

หลังจากนั้นถึงขั้นตอน Final Warnings ซึ่ง Harddisk จะสร้าง Partition และ Format
หลังจาก boot ขึ้นมาอีกครั้ง ให้กด Enter

หลังจาก Boot เครื่องโดยใช้แผ่น Windows Startup และเริ่มทำตามขั้นตอนการติดตั้ง
หมายเหตุ : Disk Manager Version ปัจจุบันสามารถใช้งาน ATAPI CD-ROM ตอนที่
Boot จากแผ่น Windows Startup ได้เลย
1.1 How do I install Disk
Manager?

Insert Floppy Disk into Drive A: and double click file "dmgr956a.exe" click
OK to start the install process

Boot your computer and go into the system BIOS. Verify that the hard drive
options are set to "Auto" with LBA enabled. If your BIOS does not support
"large drive" or "LBA" modes, use drive type 1 or user defined settings of
1024 Cylinders - 16 Heads - 63 Sectors/track.

Save these BIOS settings and boot the computer to the Disk Manager floppy
diskette.

Press ENTER at the Welcome screen to start Disk Manager.

At the option menu, select "Easy Disk Installation"
+
When prompted, select the operating system you plan to use or install. You
also will be prompted to choose FAT16 or FAT32

After a couple of "final warnings", the drive will be partitioned and formatted
and accessible as a logical drive letter after rebooting. Press ENTER
to continue.

After re-booting, place the Windows Startup diskette in the computer when
prompted and start the install process.
Note : The current version of Disk Manager includes the necessary ATAPI
CD-ROM drivers allowing the Disk Manager diskette to be used in place of the
Windows Startup disk.

How do I install Disk Manager?
1. Opening menu options for DiscWizard 2000
2. Choose the Setup New Drive option and select the drive to be setup
3. Enter the Model Number of the hard drive to start the install process.
4. View or Pint a custom Installation Manual for your drive.
5. BootWizard allows you to select the boot drive through software instead
of physically changing jumper settings for Master/Slave 6. Select the Typical
setup and get a single FAT32 partition. Custom setup allows you to personalize
your drive partitions.
7. Custom setup allows you to personalize you drive partitions
8. Choose the Maintenance option to access these drive utilities
9. Congratulations. DiscWizard 2000 has successfully installed. Partitioned,
and formatted your new drive.
